Full Implementation: Class Schedule
LA Intervention Project (LAIP) materials were designed in collaboration with high school teachers through a Model Demonstration grant (OSEP) and the effects were studied over four years at three high schools. During the study, intervention materials were arranged into two separate, for-credit classes: A comprehension course (students received 9th grade English Language Arts credit), and a decoding course (taken as an elective). The full schedules are provided under Intervention Schedule should you choose to implement the full intervention.

We also have arranged materials so that you can select to integrate LAIP materials into your existing curriculum. These Instructional Materials are appropriate for and have been successfully used by general education content teachers (ELA, World History, Life Science, and Algebra), special education Resource and Special Day teachers, and reading interventionists working with middle and high school aged children. Materials are organized use the National Reading Panel’s (2000) framework and focus on different aspects of reading.
